Today, a memorandum between the NKR Government and "Karabakh Telecom" CSJO was signed. The document was signed by the NKR Prime Minister Ara Haroutyunyan and the Executive Director of the company, Ralf Yeirikyan. According to the memorandum, during 2009, "Karabakh Telecom" is obliged to render 600 mln drams to the settlement of a number of problems in the healthcare sphere. The company will continue to implement separate non-accomplished programmes initiated last year. In 2008, "Karabakh Telecom" granted 500 mln drams for the modernization of the NKR healthcare sphere. This year, the anticipated sums are planned to be allotted, particularly, to the construction of the new subsidiary building of Kashatagh regional hospital, to the continuation of the construction of Martakert regional hospital, to the re-equipment of Stepanakert Prosthesis Centre and to the acquisition of modern equipments for the medical institutions of the Republic.

Yeirikyan informed the journalists that the company will render other services as well to the population of Artsakh. For instance, the payments for the cellular communication are anticipated to be reduced. Since March 1, 2009, the tariffs in this sphere will be reduced by 10-30 percent. According to the Executive Director, within the context of social corporate programmes, the company will focus its main attention to the healthcare of new-born children. With this aim, medical equipments will be modernized, due to which it will be possible to watch over the new-born children's health.

The Prime Minister A.Haroutyunyan expressed his thankfulness to "Karabakh Telecom" and its Director for his active and purposeful activity and noted that this year there are all preconditions for the company to become the greatest tax-payer in the NKR.

On accomplishing the memorandum singing, the Prime Minister presented a souvenir to R.Yeirikyan.
