Mevlut Cavusoglu’s term in office expires this month. French MP Jean-Claude Mignon will replace him as President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

What will change under the presidency of the French MP? Will the sub-committee on Nagorno Karabakh quit? Head of the Armenian delegation to PACE David Harutyunyan finds it hard to make predictions. However, according to him, the Armenian delegation will continue boycotting its activity.

Member of the Armenian delegation to PACE Naira Zohrabyan considers that the subcommittee will not convene sittings. She believes French MP Jean-Claude Mignon will be quite unbiased.

The winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe kicks off in a fortnight. Members of the Armenian delegation will come forth with reports.

Great Britain will assume the presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. The tenure of the Human Rights Commissioner Thomas Hammarberg also comes to an end.
